MTV3 is Finland's favourite TV channel and is a popular provider of entertainment and information for all Finnish consumers. Starting in 1957, MTV3 is one of Europes first commercial TV channels. The MTV3 program offering is available 24 hours a day on the channel's own website mtv3.fi and through its MTV3 Handy mobile service, no matter what the time or place. MTV3 Teletext quickly provides current program information.

Sub is a nationwide free-to-air channel, offering diverse entertainment 24 hours a day. Sub is a mix of foreign hit series, latest Finnish productions, reality-TV, movies, most popular classic series from the past and its own discoveries such as telenovelas and Japanese anime.

Position:

Graphic Designer (web)

You will be part of MTV's Interactive IT department that provides both technical platforms and interactive web sites to MTV3´s and Sub´s programme sites and to variety of web-based consumer services.  Graphic Designer will be a member of a team that designs,  implements and maintains sites and services mostly for MTV MEDIA's Internet and Consumer Businesses department but also deliveres similar services (including consultancy) for several business units companywide

Interactive IT at MTV MEDIA is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic professional, who:

  • has fluent English
  • has creative state of mind and open minded attitude
  • is unafraid of criticism and quick change in plans
  • has used  Adobe Creative Suite 3 Web Premium
  • has strong skills with PhotoShop, Flash and Illustrator. InDesign is a plus.
  • has strong understanding concerning HTML and CSS development, especially the role of web graphic design associated with them
  • has used common flash development tools (not necessarily Action Scipt)
