It is with great sadness that we have to announce that the Vice President of Bonnier Publications, Jens Henneberg, has died following a tragic accident.

On Saturday, August 17, Jens Henneberg crashed during a bicycle ride in the Silkeborg area of ​​Denmark and although the rescue team quickly got him to Skejby hospital, the injuries proved to be extensive. Jens Henneberg turned 60 years old.

“Jens was an exceptional person,” comments Jesper Buchvald, CEO Bonnier Publications.

“His great curiosity and appetite to discover the world made him a very knowledgeable person who was always exciting to be in company with. Everyone who has worked with Jens knows that his passion and dedication extended to a number of interesting areas and always with a humanistic view of existence.”

“We have lost a very important, admired and well-liked colleague in Bonnier Publications. But the biggest loss is for his family, and it is his wife and three daughters that our thoughts go to right now,” says Jesper Buchvald.

For decades, Jens Henneberg has been an important driver in developing Bonnier Publications. A tireless ambassador for the good, inspiring and engaging content. In addition, his contribution to the company’s development, not least internationally and through partnerships, has been extremely important.

Jens will be deeply missed by everyone within Bonnier.
