Dagens industri Starts a TV Channel With Expressen TV

A new TV channel focused on the stock market and business, Di TV gives Sweden the latest business news and analysis weekdays between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Dagens industri’s aim is to give our audience business news,” says Lotta Edling, Dagens industri’s editor-in-chief. “Inspired by CNN Money, Bloomberg TV, CNBC among others, we want to be part of the rapid developments happening in the TV industry.”

Di TV is currently looking for news directors, program hosts, live editors, TV producers, video reporters and traffic editors for the channel, which will launch during the spring.

Dagens industri is No. 1 within business journalism among papers and websites, so it’s a given that we at Di want to have the same position within video,” says Edling.

Di TV will be produced with Expressen TV, which will hire staff and has built new TV studios to increase TV production.

“Expressen TV works already with the international news channel CNN, and the cooperation with Dagens industri is a further step in Expressen’s ambition to be the leading news provider in all digital platforms in Sweden,” says Thomas Mattsson, Expressen’s editor-in-chief. “Di TV will be produced in a cost-effective manner with a focus on new distribution opportunities.”
