Ten Years with SF Anytime

Complete with champagne, guest artist Jennifer Brown, an elegant dinner – and a sneak preview of upcoming films, of course – on-demand film service SF Anytime celebrated its tenth anniversary yesterday with a party for  guests from the TV operator industry, film, media and IT, at Operaterrassen at the Swedish Royal Opera House in Stockholm.

“The atmosphere was fantastic,” says Jonas Dahllöf, CEO for SF Anytime. “It was a great way for us to look back on ten very full years of entertaining people by providing a bit of our own entertainment for our partners.”

The party is just one way the company is marking the occasion. A special media campaign is underway right now with ads offering both new and current customers a trial film of the consumer’s choice. The campaign is running in selected magazines, including Allt i Hemmet, Amelia, M Magazine and Tara, and online at DN.se and Expressen.se, as well as banners in Smart TVs.

“Looking back from the small company we started as, we’re now the Nordic market leader when it comes to digital movies, and we’ve been making a profit since 2010,” says Dahllöf.

As for the next ten years, the future looks bright. There is still only a small percentage of the public who have tried video-on-demand – in Sweden only 16 percent according to a survey done by SF Anytime. “We will continue to grow, both in terms of users and availability,” says Dahllöf. “We are already accessible via the offerings of partners such as TeliaSonera, Canal Digital, Telenor, Get and others as well as through our own service on computers, tablets and smart TVs.”

You can take advantage of the SF Anytime offer for a trial movie of your choice in Denmark, Finland, Norway or Sweden.
