Winners of the Swedish Grand Prize for Journalism 2018

Prizewinners for 2018 include Robert Barkman and Daniel Velasco, Swedish Radio; Jenny Svenberg Bunnel, Aftonbladet; David Baas, Expressen; Matilda Gustafsson, Dagens Nyheter; och Mats Nileskär, Swedish Radio.

Winners of the Swedish Grand Prize for Journalism 2018 were announced at a prize ceremony earlier this evening before an audience of Sweden’s leading journalists and media personalities.

The awards were introduced by Jonas Bonnier, jury chair. The program host for the evening was Jessika Gedin, popular program hos for the Swedish TV arts & culture program Babel.

The guest of honor was Rebecca Corbett, assistant managing editor at the New York Times and leader for the investigative department at the news daily. She was the editor behind the reporters who exposed Harvey Weinstein, for which the team was awarded the Pulitzer Prize.
