Yourlife Reborn

Swedish book publisher Bonnierförlagen has started up a new arena for meeting authors: Books & Dreams. The initiative is being run by Carina Nunstedt and Lina Rönning, who developed the successful event series at magazine publisher Bonnier Tidksrifter. Bonnierförlagen has long been looking at different ways to develop new arenas to make authors more visible.

“Carina Nunstedt’s previous events were very appreciated, by the authors as well as the public and sponsors,” says Håkan Rudels, publishing director for Bonnierförlagen. “She has her own format, with a focus on the reader experience and meetings with authors that we’re taking further under new management. Our ambition is to have an established event series for authors from Bonnierförlagen and other publishers.” 

In the fall, Rudels contacted Carina Nunstedt about the concept. “It’s great that the Yourlife concept can go further,” she says. “Books & Dreams will create magical live meetings between authors and their readers.”

The events, which will start in the fall, will offer a place for other book publishers and their authors, as well as for external sponsors. The first event is scheduled for Sept. 17 in Stockholm, with several famous guests. The program will be revealed later and tickets will be on sale starting in May.
